everyday life. Lectio Divina will form the framework for developing new ways of
seeing, understanding, growing in faith and teaching with and through popular film.
In addition the course will explore cinema history, culture, influence and practical
skills about 1) how to read a film 2) ways to develop criteria for judging movies and
3) how to integrate popular film, media literacy and values as part of intergenerational
catechesis.
